Welcome to Hangover Resort
"Travel makes you modest. You see what a tiny place you occupy in the world.
-Gustav Flaubert (French Novelist)
I simply love to visit new places. I aspire to see the whole world and beyond (may be, once its possible). I like to travel with my loved ones and enjoy every moment of the journey. But its okay to travel alone too, or in couple, or with friends, or with just my kids, or in a group... Oh my my... as I am recalling my past tours and travels, I am getting to know myself better... Just how much I love travelling to new destinations, may be with any kind of "good company"...

Travelling with Kids can be Super Fun ! |
- When I am really happy, my heart tells me, its time to celebrate, let's rock n roll, let's party, let's get to some awesome new place and have fun...
- When I am sad, a voice inside whispers... Take a break baby, lets move to some new place and abandon this mood forever...
- And when life is just that usual, daily routine mode kind, it surely feels like breaking the monotony and guess how... Go on short trip to somewhere!
And that's just the beginning, because when I come across something interesting even on way to my next destination, I have that undying urge to explore it too. That's the kind of traveler I am, for sure qualified to be called an Avid Traveler - quite popular term tagged to people with such wanderlust streak...! And I believe this streak might even be genetic plus contagious. As a kid, I have travelled with my parents quite often, and even now they are an inspiration to fuel my desires to travel the world. They are frequently ticking off destinations from their bucket list of World Tour together. It might be a record in itself considering both are jolly and active senior citizens, living life to the fullest, more so after retirement from regular jobs! I intend to put their valuable advices for various destinations of the world that they have covered in luxury. To add to it, I am happily engaged in viewing and selecting and working on our pics to make some destination specific collage. It shall give a comprehensive idea of the beauty of holidaying!!!

Family Holidays: Joy of Togetherness! |
And so have been my kids aged 8yrs and 4 years, always ready to travel and see new places... World seems to be at their finger tips, and they do explore and are at ease with this wanderlust streak already... I am glad I have been able to pass on this legacy quite in time. For travelers, the world is a canvas... They will color it with their own vibrant views and experiences, and mark the memories, to set a path for next gen travelers!
Since I have travelled with a variety of people and to various destinations, my travel experiences cannot be categorized into just one type. Also in my blog I would be sharing all those wonderful memories with you. For me, writing about it is like living it all over again. I love the nostalgia of beautiful travel memories. The glimpse of so many beautiful holidays of India and abroad hover me, to mention a few of my unique travels, are those mentioned below:

And I love story-telling via writing... I think my version is more appropriately called as story-talking... I just hope that you enjoy this journey of nostalgia with me...!
The purpose of creating this specific "Travel Experiences" blog is vaguely mentioned in its name "Hangover Resort".
- Hangover, here means, something that has survived from the past, the holdover or an after-memory.
- Resort, here means, have recourse to or move to.
So, broadly you may understand that this is my initiative to walk down the memory lane of paths taken, people met, emotions lived, in the beautiful landscape of life... And share this hangover or nostalgia with you. You may simply enjoy reading the travel stories, or use it as a reference while planning any similar trip to various destinations. I intend to put travel tips in all my stories, to help new tourists in someway or other. Your comments are most welcome, so that we get to learn from each other and share more experiences and, fun and laughter too. Happy Exploring!!!
Many of you, friends and family, would be able to associate themselves in my stories, though I may or may not mention their names... Or put some pics... A special thanks to all of you for being there with me in those moments... I love you all for adding to my most precious collection of life memories... Keep coming back, let's go somewhere yet again, and explore life to the fullest!!! ๐๐๐
